Jack Kresnak has been inducted into the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame. He certainly deserves this honor.
Mr. Kresnak, a former Detroit Free Press staff writer, authored a compelling series of articles about the life and tragic death of Ariana Swinson from the Port Huron area.
His work raised public awareness of the holes in the safety net that has been designed to protect vulnerable children. These articles were instrumental in the passage of Ariana’s Law in 2004.
Congratulations, Jack. Best wishes as you continue to advocate for children as Executive Director of Michigan’s Children.
